TOWN OF ERIN - On Nov. 26, 2023 at approximately 5:45 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious collision involving two vehicles on Wellington Road 22, east of Hillsburgh. Initial reports indicated that two sedans had been involved and that there were multiple injuries.
Emergency service responded and five individuals were transported to hospital with one in serious condition.
The roadway was closed until Nov. 27, 2023 at approximately 5 a.m. for reconstructionist. The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
