Guelph police are investigating after a food delivery driver had his car stolen Tuesday evening.

The victim had left his car running while he attended a restaurant in the area of Woolwich Street and Woodlawn Road East just after 6 p.m. Two suspects were observed by a witness getting into the grey Chevrolet Cruze and driving off northbound on Woolwich Street.

The victim’s credit cards, which were inside his wallet in the vehicle, were later used at a number of locations in Waterloo Region before the victim was able to cancel them. The suspects were described as a middle-aged male with a balding or shaved head and carrying a lot of bags, and a female in her late teens, thin with black hair and wearing all black clothing.

The incident remains under investigation.
