Frozen food worth $2,000 stolen from local restaurant

Approximately $2,000 in frozen food was stolen during a break-in at a local restaurant late Wednesday.

Police were called to the restaurant in the area of Elmira Road North and Woodlawn Road West Thursday afternoon. Staff had arrived to find an outdoor shed had been broken open, and a large quantity of frozen food stolen from two freezers inside.

Video surveillance revealed a male breaking into the shed approximately 10:45 p.m. Wednesday. He is described as a white male, 5’10” tall with an average build and wearing a black jacket with a white logo on the chest, grey hoodie, dark jeans and black running shoes with white soles.
