Girl, 10, reportedly grabbed by stranger while walking dog

Police say the dog may have bitten the man in the incident, which reportedly happened last month on Scottsdale Drive

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who reportedly grabbed a 10-year-old girl as she walked her dog late last month.

The incident happened on Oct. 29 or 30, between 1:30 and 5:30 p.m. in the townhouse complex at 106-266 Scottsdale Drive.

The girl’s dog scared him off and may have bit him, a police news release states.

The suspect is described as a white man with tanned skin, between 5’7” and 5’10” tall and between 40 and 50 years old. He’s bald with some grey or white hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing blue jeans, a black hoodie and black and white shoes, with black and white gloves.

He was last seen running along the fence behind units 238-254, heading toward Scottsdale Drive.
