A Guelph male faces child pornography charges after a warrant was executed early Wednesday.
Just after 7 a.m., members of the Guelph Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit along with members of the Technological Crimes Unit, Tactical Response Unit and uniform patrol attended the residence in the city’s east end.
During the search, evidence was found and a 70-year-old male who resides at the residence was arrested. He is charged with possessing child pornography, distributing child pornography and accessing child pornography.
He has been released on conditions and will appear in a Guelph court Feb. 1.
