Guelph man airlifted following vehicle rollover

On Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019 at approximately 12 p.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police along with Centre Wellington Fire and Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Services responded to a single vehicle rollover on Middlebrook Road near Weisenburgh Road in Woolwich Township.

Investigation revealed that a mail delivery vehicle was travelling northbound when the driver lost control of the vehicle on the ice-covered road when it entered the ditch and rolled over. The male driver was ejected and became partially trapped under the vehicle.

The 37-year-old driver of Guelph was transported by Ornge Air Ambulance to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
