On May 22, 2019 at 7:35 a.m., Guelph Police went to the VIA Station on Carden Street for the report of a man being aggressive with Transit Special Constables. The man continued to act aggressively with Guelph Police and one officer was struck before police were able to arrest him.
The 19-year-old Guelph man has ben charged with two counts of assault police and two counts of breach probation. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
