Police in Oxford County charged a Guelph man with impaired driving during a RIDE spotcheck in Innerkip on Sunday.
According to an OPP news release, officers were conducting a checkpoint at about 3:45 p.m. when they administered a roadside breath test that resulted in the driver being taken to the police station for further testing.
As a result, a 45-year-old Guelph man is charged with impaired driving and driving with a blood/alcohol concentration above 80 mg in 100 ml of blood.
