Update: 6:45 p.m.

On April 27, 2019 at approximately 4 p.m., Mr. John ‘Bev’ Kerr was located safe north of Oshawa and will be returning home to his family.

The Guelph Police Service would like to thank everyone that shared this information and assisted in finding him.

Guelph Police are attempting to locate a missing male with possible early onset dementia.

John “Bev” Kerr is described as approximately 5’8”, 130lbs, thin build, white hair, glasses with shoe strings attached.

Mr. Kerr was last seen wearing a blue plaid shirt, blue baseball cap with Fastenal wording, blue jeans, belt and suspenders and a red jacket. Mr. Kerr has been seen in the area of Tim Horton’s, Walmart and possibly Zehr’s in the Guelph and Kitchener area.  

He has been operating a 2008 Kia Silver in colour with Ontario plates BPSK643.

Guelph Police are attempting to locate Mr. Kerr to ensure his well-being. Please contact police immediately if you have any information on the possible location of Mr. Kerr.
