From July 1, 2020 to July 31, 2020, the Guelph Police Service issued 487 Provincial Offence Notices for speeding offences in the City of Guelph.   

The area bordered by Paisley Road, Hanlon Expressway, Wellington Street, Fife Road and Whitelaw Road experienced the highest number of speeding offences with 108 Provincial Offence Notices issued.

The area bordered by Watson Parkway North, Eastview Drive, Victoria Road North and York Road experienced the second highest number of speeding offences with 34 Provincial Offence Notices issued. 

The area bordered by Wellington Street West, Gordon Street, College Avenue West and Edinburgh Road South experienced the third highest number of speeding offences with 33 Provincial Offence Notices issued. 

The area bordered by Gordon Street, Maltby Road, Crawley Road and Clair Road West experienced the fourth highest number of speeding offences with 31 Provincial Offence Notices issued. 

The Guelph Police Service regularly receive numerous driving complaints regarding speeding issues. We make every attempt to design enforcement efforts to high complaint areas. The Guelph Police would like to remind drivers that high speeds place us all at risk. Please follow the speed limits and keep our streets and community safe.
