Guelph police stop car doing 62 km/h over the limit in town

Guelph Police Service says a car has been impounded afer the driver was clocked at 112 km per hour in a 50 km/h zone.

In a tweet by GPS traffic services, the vehicle had been cresting a blind hill in the area of Edinburgh Road South and Stone Road West at 9:36 a.m. on Tuesday when it was stopped.

The driver is facing stunt driving charges, increased driver's license suspension and vehicle impoundment as a result of the incident.
