On June 24, 2019 at approximately 8:50 a.m., a 60-year-old Guelph male reported that he was involved in a collision with a yellow Suzuki motorcycle on Auden Road. The motor cyclist fled the scene prior to police arrival and was located several hours later and arrested. He was taken to hospital for treatment of a shoulder injury as a result of the crash.
A 30-year-old Guelph male will appear in court on August 6, 2019 to face charges that include Operation While Prohibited, Failure to Stop after Accident, Breach OIC Undertaking and Owner Drive under Suspension, Careless Driving, Drive No Insurance, No Permit and Improper Licence.
