A male facing assault charges after swinging a hockey stick at staff inside a downtown business earlier this week was arrested again Tuesday after returning to the business.

On Monday, the male was charged with assault with a weapon after an employee reported the male had swung a hockey stick over his head and then pointed it at him. The male is on several court orders requiring him to stay away from the business.

He was released Monday, again with a condition he not attend the business. On Tuesday morning police were called after the male returned to the business and was located inside by police.

A 24-year-old Guelph male was arrested on several breach charges. He will appear in a Guelph bail court Thursday.
