A Guelph man was arrested Saturday morning after a homeowner caught him stealing marijuana from a shed.
Approximately 10:15 a.m. a female called police from the area of Wellington Street West and Fife Road. She reported her husband had caught a male leaving their backyard shed and had him pinned down. Investigation revealed the male had attempted to steal two mason jars containing a small amount of marijuana.
A 43-year-old Guelph man is charged with break and enter.
