Guelph police say a driver faces Highway Traffic Act charges after a hit and run collision Monday morning.
Just before 9 a.m., a Guelph female called police to report her vehicle had been struck by an SUV which was making a U-turn on Victoria Road North near Hadati Road. The SUV had fled the scene.
Officers located it at a residence a short distance away and noted fresh damage. A 39-year-old man is charged with careless driving and failing to remain at a collision.
