On June 11, 2020 at approximately 3:18 p.m., Guelph Police located a motor vehicle in a parking lot at Eramosa Road and Stevenson Street North in the City of Guelph. Police discovered a male slumped over in the driver’s seat of the vehicle and upon further investigation found the male to be in an impaired state.
The male was placed under arrest for operation while impaired and transported to the Guelph Police Service where a drug recognition evaluation was completed.
A 43-year-old Kitchener male has been charged with operation while impaired and operation while prohibited. The accused is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on Sept. 22, 2020.
