A large quantity of cigarettes were among the items stolen from a downtown business during a break and enter Monday, say Guelph police.
Police were called just before 7:30 a.m. to a business near Wyndham Street South and Wellington Street East. Video surveillance showed a man entering the business through a back door approximately 4:30 a.m. He stole a cash box, credit cards, car keys and several cartons of cigarettes.
He was described as a white male in his 30s wearing a blue t-shirt, black hoodie, grey or light brown shorts, a backwards baseball cap and gloves.
The incident remains under investigation.
