Guelph police are investigating after a large quantity of tools were stolen from a west end construction site.
Police were called Monday morning to the site near Paisley Road and Elmira Road South. Staff had arrived to find someone had forced their way into a building under construction over the weekend.
Tools and equipment including a generator, rotary laser and more than a dozen batteries with chargers were reported missing.
