Male charged after threatening to kill employee at business

A Guelph male faces several charges after attending a local business this week and threatening to kill an employee.

Thursday evening, police were called to a business on Woolwich Street near Marilyn Drive. A male who is on bail with a condition not to attend the business had come inside and was still on scene when officers arrived. Investigation revealed the male had also attended the business a day earlier and threatened to kill an employee.

A 39-year-old Guelph male is charged with uttering threats, breach of probation and failing to comply with a release order. He was held to appear in a Guelph bail court Friday.
