On July 8, 2019, at approximately 8 p.m., Guelph Police received the report of a possible impaired driver in the area of York Road and Watson Road. Police located the motor vehicle and driver on Dunlop Drive. Investigation determined that he was impaired by alcohol and he was arrested. He was transported to the Guelph Police station where he then refused to provide a sample of his breath.
A 58-year-old Toronto man has been charged with operation while impaired and refuse to provide breath sample. He will appear in court on July 19, 2019.
