On Sept. 6, 2019, a 25-year-old Guelph male was arrested for one count of mischief endangering life after throwing a glass table off the seventh-floor balcony of a residential building in Guelph’s downtown core.

The table struck the ground first before hitting a pedestrian in the arm. No injuries were suffered by the pedestrian.

The accused was held for a bail hearing at the Guelph Police Service.
