A Guelph man was arrested after a former co-worker was choked at work Friday morning, say Guelph police.
Just after 10 a.m. the female victim was working at a business in the west end when a former co-worker attended and the pair became involved in a verbal dispute. The victim was grabbed by the throat and pushed against a table, temporarily being unable to breathe.
She reported pain in her throat and torso but did not seek medical attention.
Saturday morning the suspect was located and arrested. A 23-year-old Guelph man is charged with assault causing bodily harm.
