TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON - On Friday May 31, 2019, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a male in medical distress at a retail store on Tower Street South in the Town of Fergus.
Initial reports indicated that an adult male had sustained serious trauma and required medical attention. The male was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators have concluded their investigation and have determined the male's injuries were self-inflicted. The name of the individual will not be released.
