Man dies at hospital following medical incident on Hanlon Expressway

On June 19, 2019 at 10:10 p.m., the Guelph Police received a report of an adult male in medical distress on the southbound lanes of the Hanlon Parkway. Guelph Police responded with EMS, Guelph Fire and the O.P.P.

The southbound lanes of the Hanlon Parkway were shut down to allow for the investigation into the incident. The male was transported to the Guelph General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The Guelph Police are continuing to investigate the incident, however the circumstances surrounding the incident are not to be considered suspicious.
