Guelph police are again reminding all road users to be aware of their surroundings after a male in a power wheelchair was struck by a motor vehicle Friday afternoon. The 60-year-old was transported to Guelph General Hospital with leg injuries.
Police were called about 4 p.m. Friday to Willow Road near Silvercreek Parkway North. A pickup exiting a parking lot collided with the wheelchair.
A 62-year-old Puslinch male was charged with failing to yield from a driveway under the Highway Traffic Act.
