On Feb, 27, 2019 at approximately 7:15 p.m., Guelph police were called to the area of the train station where a male was reportedly refusing to leave when directed to do so. The male was arrested under the Trespass to Property Act.
Investigation revealed the name the male gave as identification was false. After the correct identification of the male was established, he was found to have several warrants for his arrest for charges that include but are not limited to assault peace officer, transportation fraud and possession of stolen property. The male was further charged with obstruct police.
The 26 year old Guelph male was held for a bail hearing.
