Man reportedly drives off after shoplifting $600 worth of goods

Guelph police say that around 2 p.m. Thursday a male entered a store located near the intersection of Stone Road West and Edinburgh Road South.They proceeded to walk around the store and select a variety of merchandise valued at $587.86, including household items, clothing and craft supplies.

After 20 minutes he left the store without paying and drove away in a silver Jeep.

The male is described as Caucasian, 30 years old, five foot seven with medium build, brown hair, a beard and was wearing a green and white plaid button up shirt, black pants, brown shoes and glasses.
