TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH - On June 6, 2019 at approximately 2:30 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious collision involving a motorcycle on Wellington Road 14, north of the Village of Arthur.
Initial reports indicated that a motorcycle and passenger vehicle had collided and that the operator of the motorcycle had sustained life-threatening injuries.
OPP, Wellington North Fire Service and the Guelph Wellington Paramedics Service attended the scene. An adult male is scheduled to be airlifted to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the collision is being investigated and the roadway will be closed until further notice. The Wellington County OPP is asking anyone that may have witnessed this collision to please call 1-888-310-1122.
