A male who attended a business several times before finally stealing some items was arrested Wednesday.

On Saturday the male showed up at a business on Watson Road South about 8:40 p.m. He used an angle grinder to partially break the lock off a storage room before leaving the scene. He came back just before 2 a.m. with a set of bolt cutters which he used to break the remainder of the lock. The male looked inside the storage room using his cellphone’s light then left the scene again.

He returned a third time just before 9 a.m. Sunday, entered the room and fled with approximately $300 worth of product. All the visits were caught on surveillance video.

On Tuesday morning the male was located at a residence on York Road near Watson Parkway North. A 32-year-old Guelph male is charged with break and enter and breaching probation. He will appear in a Guelph court August 27.
