Man using downtown ATM robbed at knifepoint

Suspect fled on foot prior to police arrival

On Nov. 10, 2019 just after noon, [it is alleged that] an adult male was taking money out of an ATM at a bank located in the downtown core of the City Of Guelph when the suspect approached him from behind and demanded he turn over all of his money. When the victim turned around, he observed the suspect holding a six-inch long fishing style knife. The victim gave him all of his money and the suspect fled on foot. Police attended the scene but were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as:
    •    Caucasian male
    •    5’7”
    •    25 years old
    •    Dark hoodie with hood up
    •    A blue bandana with white polka dots around his forehead
    •    Dark face covering over his mouth
    •    White Nike high top sneakers with a black swoosh, black sole and black laces
