Moffat woman caught going 120 km/h on Stone Road

In addition to charges, driver’s licence was suspended and Mercedes impounded

A 45-year-old Moffat woman faces a pair of driving charges after police reportedly stopped her travelling double the speed limit on Tuesday afternoon. 

At about 3:45 p.m. officers spotted a Mercedes going 120 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone along Stone Road East, between Victoria Road and Gordon Street.

In addition to facing charges of speeding and stunt driving, the woman’s licence was automatically suspended for 30 days and her vehicle impounded for two weeks.
