The following is a news release from Guelph Police:
Impaired driver arrested
On July 2, 2017, at 11:40 p.m., Guelph Police stopped a vehicle on Stephanie Drive Guelph and arrested a male for Impaired Driving. Elmer Reyes, 47 years old of Guelph, was charged with Impaired Driving and Drive over 80. He will appear in court in July.
Impaired by drug
On June 30, 2017, at 11:30 pm, Guelph Police were called to the intersection of Willow Road and Bonar Place Guelph for a suspicious vehicle. Officers arrived on scene and the driver was arrested for Impaired Care and Control by Drug.
Brandon Tran, 19 years old of Guelph, was charged with Impaired Care and Control by Drug and will appear in court in August.
Drive disqualified arrest
On June 30, 2017, at 10:41 a.m., Guelph Police stopped a vehicle on Victoria Road North and Woodlawn Road East Guelph and arrested the driver. Stephan Piche, 29 years old of Guelph was arrested for two counts of Drive Disqualified and two counts of Drive Suspended. He will appear in court in September.
