Natural gas leak delays traffic in Erin

TOWN OF ERIN - On Thursday, June 21, 2018 at approximately 9 a.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a natural gas leak on Main Street, Erin.

Initial reports indicated that a contractor had stuck and severed a gas line while trenching along the road.

OPP as well as the Town of Erin Fire and Emergency Services attended. Traffic was momentarily delayed and pedestrian traffic was diverted. Enbridge natural gas division is expected to attend and service the line break.
