On Jan. 5, 2020 at approximately 6:25 p.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police along with Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Services and the Town of Erin Fire Services responded to a serious two-motor vehicle collision on Trafalgar Road near Side Road 17 in the Town of Erin.
Investigation revealed that a southbound sport utility vehicle (SUV) collided head-on with a northbound sedan. The driver of the sedan was pronounced deceased at the scene and the driver of the SUV was transported to a Georgetown hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Wellington County OPP along with OPP Technical Collision Investigators continue to investigate the collision.
