OPP recovers stolen vehicle at drive-in

A flatbed truck, originally reported stolen in Meaford, was found on the property but the excavator that was on the platform still has not been found

On April 4, 2020 at approximately 12:15 p.m. the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a suspicious vehicle on Jones Baseline in Guelph-Eramosa Township. It was reported that the gate leading into the Mustang Drive-In Theatre was busted open and a lime green flatbed truck was on the property.

Investigation revealed that the truck was stolen out of Meaford and at the time of the theft, there was a Kubota excavator on the platform, however, the excavator is still outstanding.
