TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON - On Aug. 23, 2018 members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a fraud that occurred at a financial institution in Fergus. The unknown suspect has committed a similar offence in York region.
OPP is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect from the photo.
Any person with information regarding this person should contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a tip online. You may be eligible for a reward from Crime Stoppers of up to $2,000.
OPP would like to remind everyone to that we all lose when someone commits fraud. Whether it's through increased service charges or prices, we all pay the price.
