OPP seek witnesses to crash near Hillsburgh that leaves one with life-threatening injuries

Dec. 11, 2021, at approximately 3 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious collision on Trafalgar Road at Sideroad 17, south of Hillsburgh.

Emergency service responded and one driver was transported to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.

Reconstructionist from the West Region Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team attended the scene and are investigating the cause of the collision. The roadway was closed for approximately five hours.

The Wellington County OPP is asking anyone that may have witnessed this collision to please call 1-888-310-1122.

A 1-1/2-year-old white sheepdog named "Deeks" was a passenger in an involved vehicle. He was frightened and fled the scene and is missing. OPP are asking one in the area that sees a large white stray dog to call police or local animal services. He had on a collar but without tags.
