Their drivers are all accused of going way too fast

CITY OF GUELPH - On Apr. 1, 2017 at approximately 7:25 a.m., a Wellington County OPP officer was monitoring traffic on Highway 6 near Laird Road in the City of Guelph. 

The officer observed a female driving a 2015 Mazda 3 travelling at a speed that appeared to be well above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar at approximately 138 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.

65-year-old Mary Ferguson, of Toronto, has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and will appear in Guelph Provincial Court on May 3, 2017. Her driver's licence and vehicle were seized for a period of seven days as per statute. 

Shortly thereafter at approximately 9:44 a.m. police were still monitoring traffic at this same location. An officer observed a female driving a 2015 Lexus travelling at a speed that appeared to be well above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar at approximately 138 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.

41-year-old Qiaohong Li, of London, has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and will appear in Guelph Provincial Court on May 3, 2017. Her driver's licence and vehicle were seized for a period of seven days as per statute.

TOWNSHIP OF PUSLINCH - On Apr. 2, 2017 at approximately 10:35 p.m., a Wellington County OPP officer was monitoring traffic on Highway 6 near Maltby Road in the Township of Puslinch. 

The officer observed a male driving a 2012 Hyundai travelling at a speed that appeared to be well above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar at approximately 136 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.

A 17-year-old youth has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and is scheduled to appear in Guelph Provincial Court May 17, 2017 to answer to the charge. His driver's licence and vehicle were seized for a period of seven days as per statute.

CITY OF GUELPH - On Apr. 3, 2017 at approximately 9 p.m., a Wellington County OPP officer was monitoring traffic on Highway 6 near Laird Road in the City of Guelph. 

The officer observed a male driving a 2013 Ford F150 travelling at a speed that appeared to be well above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar at approximately 137 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.

62-year-old Dennis Beauclaire, of Guelph, has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and will appear in Guelph Provincial Court on May 3, 2017.His driver's licence and vehicle were seized for a period of seven days as per statute.
