A Guelph male and female face charges related to a break and enter at a south end apartment building last week.

Police were called Thursday regarding a break and enter that occurred two days earlier at the building on Edinburgh Road South near Wilsonview Avenue. Video surveillance revealed the pair got into the building behind a delivery person then attempted unsuccessfully to gain entry to several rooms on the main floor.

They also gained entry to a parking garage where they tried car doors, attempted to steal a bike and damaged a door. Officers recognized the two and arrested them downtown on Tuesday.

A 35-year-old Guelph male is charged with break and enter and breach of probation. He will appear in a Guelph court Feb. 25.

A 29-year-old Guelph female is charged with break and enter. She will appear in a Guelph court Feb. 18.
