Police arrest female caught on camera

A Guelph female was arrested Monday in connection with a recent commercial break and enter caught on video.

On Sept. 21, approximately 2:50 a.m., a male and female broke into a business on Speedvale Avenue West near Dawson Road. A cash register containing cash was removed from the business, as well as the keys to a Lincoln motor vehicle which was parked outside.

The Lincoln was stolen and later recovered on Waterloo Avenue.

Investigation has led to the arrest of an 18-year-old Guelph female for break, enter and commit an indictable offence. She will appear in a Guelph court Jan. 18.

The investigation is ongoing to identify the involved male.
