A Guelph male wanted for breaking another male’s nose last month also faces drug charges after being arrested Monday night.
Guelph police were on an unrelated call at a downtown apartment building when they spotted the male. He was wanted in relation to a disturbance at the same building April 21 in which another male was punched several times and suffered a broken nose.
The male was arrested on the outstanding warrant. A search incident to arrest revealed almost 22 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, $505 in Canadian currency, a digital scale, two cell phones and two large kitchen knives.
A 20-year-old Guelph male is charged with assault causing bodily harm and possessing a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. He was held for a bail hearing Tuesday.
