Members of the Guelph Police Service General Investigations Unit have concluded an investigation into an incident that occurred on Dec. 11.
On that date, police responded to a restaurant in the south end of Guelph, where there was a report of a male being assaulted. Police allege that hate or bias is part of this incident.
The General Investigations Unit took over the investigation and followed several leads. On Monday two 15-year-old Guelph males were arrested and charged with assault. On Tuesday, December 28, a Guelph male that was 17 years old at the time of the incident was arrested and charged with assault and mischief under $5,000.
All were released with court dates in February.
