Police believe selling items online may have led to break and enter

Sometime on the morning of June 25, 2019, a home in the south end of the city was broken into. Multiple items were stolen from the home. 

The homeowner had multiple items listed for sale on a popular buying and selling site, and had been in communication with a potential buyer. Through this communication, the homeowner had let them know that they would not be home when the break and enter occurred.

The Guelph Police Service reminds the community to use caution whenever using online buying and selling sites.
