A Guelph male faces charges after he was caught early Sunday after breaking into a business.

Shortly before 5 a.m. Sunday, police were called after a witness heard glass breaking and saw a male enter a business in the area of College Avenue West and Gordon Street. Officers arrived minutes later and located the involved male just outside the business.

Investigation revealed two businesses had windows broken and that entry had been gained to one of them. A 28-year-old Guelph man is charged with break and enter and mischief. He will appear in a Guelph court July 12.
