Police investigate break and enter, locate stolen vehicle

On Nov. 21, 2017, there was a 2001 Ford van and licence plates from another vehicle stolen from a Guelph-Eramosa Township parking lot. The following day Guelph police were investigating a break and enter at a Auden Road home where the male suspect was seen leaving the home. Police arrived and arrested the male before he was able to get into a vehicle that was the stolen van. The stolen plates were attached to the vehicle as well.    

A 29-year-old Guelph man is charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property and possession of break-in instruments. He was held in custody and will appear in bail court.
