Police investigating big biker brawl in Arthur

(WELLINGTON COUNTY, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Wellington County Crime Unit and Biker Enforcement Unit (BEU) are urging members of the public to come forward with any information in relation to an altercation with ties to Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs (OMGs).

On August 18, 2021, at approximately 11:10 p.m., Wellington Country OPP officers responded to a large fight at a local business in the Town of Arthur, which left numerous victims with injuries. A group of 20 - 30 individuals, with suspected ties to OMGs, were involved in the assault. All parties left the scene prior to police arrival.

At this time, there are no public safety concerns and the incident seems to be isolated. The investigation continues.

The presence of motorcycle gangs in any community should be a concern. Citizens should minimize contact with gang members and report any OMGs activity to the police.
