People are being asked to avoid the area of Guelph police headquarters after a suspicious package was found.
An investigation is underway.
Officers have closed Wyndham Street South between Fountain and Farquhar streets. It was still closed as of 10 a.m. this morning.
A perimeter was been taped off around the station and multiple police vehicles blocked nearby intersections.
No bomb disposal unit was visible at the scene early Monday morning shortly after police tweeted about the incident.
