Police look to identify man hanging around playground

Officers responded to a report of a male in a car that appeared to be watching children in a playground

On Sept. 20, 2017, Guelph Police investigated the report of a suspicious male in a car that appeared to be watching children in the playground behind 87 Neeve St. at approximately 7 p.m. When approached by a parent, the male left the area.

The car is described as a four-door Toyota, gold in colour. The licence plate had blue along the top of it and there was a red symbol to the left of the numbers.

The man is described as white, approximately 60 years, with some scruffy facial hair, grey hair and was wearing sun glasses.

Police would like to speak with this man in regard to this incident.
