Shortly after 8 a.m. on Sept. 19, a school-age girl was walking to school in the area of Pinch Park when she saw a male running towards her. She began running away and the male, who she did not know, appeared to chase after her. When she reached the safety of nearby St. Ignatius school, the male stopped running and walked back the way that he came. Police checked the area and were not able to locate the male in question.

The male is described as approximately 50 years old with grey hair in a kind of ‘buzz cut and a shaggy mushroom cut’ style and wearing black dress pants, a grey short sleeved shirt with white stripes and black dress shoes.

Anyone who may have information about this incident or this male is asked to contact Cst A. Halliday at 519-824-1212 at ext. 7448 or by e-mail at [email protected]. Anonymous tips can be left at Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or submitted online.
