Police make arrest in kitty litter caper

Guelph police report that on Aug. 7 at 6:12 p.m., an adult female entered onto the front porch of a residence located near the intersection of Woolwich Street and Speedvale Avenue East and allegedly stole a box of cat litter valued at $27.11 and left the area.

Monday at 8:39 a.m., police located the female at a nearby residence and she was subsequently arrested.

A 41-year-old Guelph female has been charged with theft under $5,000.

She will appear in court on Dec. 7.
